GSE Technician
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced GSE Technician to join a well-established ground support equipment operation in the Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a skilled technical team supporting essential airport operations.
The Role
Within this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of a wide range of ground support equipment. You will ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards to support daily aviation activities.
You will work in a team of approximately 30 employees within a structured daytime schedule. There is no shift pattern, although participation in a breakdown standby service is required approximately once every 6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

Perform planned maintenance and inspections on GSE equipment

Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults

Read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams

Carry out breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise operational downtime

Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards

Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience

Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics

Solid knowledge of hydraulic systems

Good overall mechanical knowledge

Ideally a background in heavy equipment, truck servicing, construction equipment, agricultural machinery or similar

Relevant technical certifications or vocational qualifications

A proactive, problem-solving mindset

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
