We are currently recruiting for an experienced GSE Technician to join a well-established ground support equipment operation in the Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a skilled technical team supporting essential airport operations.

The Role

Within this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of a wide range of ground support equipment. You will ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards to support daily aviation activities.

You will work in a team of approximately 30 employees within a structured daytime schedule. There is no shift pattern, although participation in a breakdown standby service is required approximately once every 6 weeks.

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday

• 07:00 – 16:00

• No shift rotation

• Breakdown standby service (approx. 1 week in 6)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and inspections on GSE equipment

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams

• Carry out breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise operational downtime

• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience

• Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics

• Solid knowledge of hydraulic systems

• Good overall mechanical knowledge

• Ideally a background in heavy equipment, truck servicing, construction equipment, agricultural machinery or similar

• Relevant technical certifications or vocational qualifications

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
